Lights, Camera, Action!
Shropshire Music Service brought together a brilliant mix of young musicians on 22 November 2025 for an exciting photo shoot designed to celebrate the talent, energy and diversity of our students.
The images will take centre stage on our brand new website (this one!), showcasing real pupils from across the county and the joy that music brings to their lives.
From early stage learners picking up their instruments with pride to advanced ensemble players sharing their passion, the day captured the full spirit of SMS. Strings, brass, woodwind, percussion and voice were all represented, with every student stepping up with confidence and enthusiasm.
The result is a vibrant collection of images that reflect the creativity and ambition at the heart of our service.
The atmosphere throughout the shoot was buzzing. Students encouraged one another, swapped stories about their ensembles and lessons, and showed real pride in representing their schools and musical pathways. Staff from Shropshire Music Service were on hand to support, cheer and celebrate every shot.
The new photos will feature across the upcoming SMS website, giving families, schools and visitors a genuine glimpse into the musical opportunities available across Shropshire.
This shoot is part of our continued commitment to championing young musicians and celebrating the achievements of students at every stage of their journey.
